Mine came today too! They smell like adhesive to me ... but as long as they work ...!

Just got done watching my brother-in-law (mechanic by trade) putting a new thermostat in my car Smile I tried yesterday, but a bolt broke off in the engine block. I had nightmares of having to have the car towed into the shop and the engine pulled out so they could drill the bolt out, but he was able to get it out pretty quickly. Then he spent 2 hours trying to get the housing to seal properly! Better him than me ... I just remind myself that's what I go through when they have computer problems and call me Wink

Yes ... a couple of my friends are attorneys and we trade legal advise/computer help and dinners Smile Now I just need to find a computer illiterate (or cooking impaired) doctor!

IMO, what you do is one of the hardest jobs there is!

It's a lot of fun though ... the nice customers far outweigh the nasty ones, and there aren't too many jobs where you can turn someone's stressful day into a relaxing evening in an hour Wink Strange what can happen when you smile and bring people food!

OK everyone: Stop Label Sniffing and listen UP: It took 3 hours but I have a Photo Bucket
Album OPEN (insert applause here)

I have my present signature and the second one with the Pie in my photo gallery>

neither will download to Photobucket: a error comes up "photos must contain only letters & numbers" so I delete

Then I tried loading the three yellow smiliey's
jumping rope as it had a simple title It moved to my album immediately. So I have one GIFF in Photobucket ( more applause please) Just curious - is the bucket in Australia?
Will resume this tomorow as know you all want to sleep - Thanks mory

When I'm playing manager, I always train my front desk people to:
  • Seat parties of women in a waiters station
  • Seat parties of men in a waitresses station
  • Seat families in stations with a server that likes children

The customers have a better time and the servers make more money! As for men being better servers ... I think it's because (from my experience, the vast majority of them) they aren't doing their sidework in the back and are schmoozing their tables Smile And more men consider waiting tables a profession, where the women are doing it to pay bills while going to school (hmmm ... that says something about ambition doesn't it)!

In Seattle we've gone through a few water shortages so most restaurants don't automatically bring it - and a lot of servers don't bring water because it doesn't generate revenue (for them or for the restaurant). I've found that if you get to the table quickly and bring the beverage ordered immediately people will be pretty happy Smile I never plop the bill on the table when people are eating unless they've told me they're in a hurry, or if it's lunch (and then I always tell them they're more than welcome to order something else - I'm just trying to make sure they can get back to work on time). The thing I don't like is when I'm given the bill and then it takes a half hour for the server to come by to collect!

When I looked up Photo Bucket on Google the page had three links - one was a Photobucket in Australia - then I backed Up and the second one was a Tie In with E-Bay AU --Third back Up took me to a plain listing so I Opened that. Inserted The name I registered with last night amd it opened - replied to the E-Mail and I was In. It wouldn't make any difference - its all instantaneous anyway. but was surprised to see the E=Bay color Logo tie in.. Maybe they are buying them like They did Pay Pal.
Everyone says no until E-Bay drops a multi million check on the table.

AS did its work and I have another camera on the way. The labels arrived this morning. really nice. will use one today to ship to
APO Bagdad. They are cheap enough to reinforce the inside bottom flaps. If its a good box sometimes I'll break it down for storage then have to rebuild it. I got some
Christmas ornaments and noticed the boxes had not only been used but were turned inside out.
I could read General Mills cereal inside one of them. I guess we don't do that because of labor costs. We do grind it up and mix it with new pulp so thats a start.
