I've used Auction sniper before with no problems. Tonight I want to snipe an item, and I keep getting asked for a security key to link my ebay account. they were always linked before, so what gives?

Hello redbeemerbabe -
It sounds like eBay may have enabled 2 Factor Authentication on your eBay account. If you are encountering this as you log in to eBay to generate the link between accounts, that is the most likely cause.
You can check and disable this in your eBay account after logging in:
Please note that the link between accounts must be renewed at least once every 18 months.
I turned off 2 factor ID, but It still takes me to a page asking for a security code from an actual code generator (I guess that's what they're called.
I don't have a security key and I've never had one. I've never been asked for one until last night when I wanted to snipe an auction. Auction Sniper isn't the only sniping program, and they just lost me as a user.
Hello again,
Please feel free to file a support case with our team using the Support icon on most of the site pages or from under the Help tab of the site as we do not have 2 factor authentication occurring from within our site when you try to reach eBay to generate the link between accounts. Our agents will be happy to assist you directly.
It sounds like you may need to clear your browser cache after disabling the eBay 2 factor authentication to ensure that your browser has not cached either our pages or eBay pages with that in place.
