Or should that be 'see yo later?'
Off for a week to Scotland.

Will it be colder in Scotland than where you are?
[silly question considering you have probably already left ]
Have a safe trip Mike

That sounds like a pretty big meeting and lots of work. It would be fun to see all those cars.
I'm envying your nice cool weather.

I read somewhere that 2CVs were one of the most dangerous cars to be in in a crash...

Lots of piccies! Thanks, Mike! Those are nice looking cars. I can't remember ever seeing one of those up close.

There's one that's loaded with headlights. Is this for good night time vision for the driver?

It looks like you had a really good meeting.

These meetings have their own currency, used for the bar and trade stands: this ensures that we get our cut out of this. We were in the finance team, so had to count thousands of little blue coins, and sell them for sterling in the kiosks.

I managed to take some pictures before being chased off. If you're interested, I can post them.

I'd rather have a car that's nice enough to show but not too perfect to take out and drive and enjoy.

It looks like you had a lot of fun type cars at your meeting. Are you planning to go to the one in Sweden?
I hope your wife will cut you some slack when you get to be a really old geezer. Maybe your trade-in value will allow her a new model? But, then there’s something to be said for experience. And, it’s such a pain to break-in a new husband.quote:Amen - everything here has to be useable.

They don’t make them like the use to.

OK, here it is. These pictures don't do it justice.
The sign was on the front grille. I had to take a picture of it to prove that I saw one! The straps on the trunk looked like leather.

It looks like she has a really nice daily driver car.

The Falcons get 22 mpg, which isn't too great either, but they're more fun to drive than the other car!

I intentionally said, “really old geezer.” Based on your picture, assuming that wasn’t 25 years ago, you don’t qualify for the “really”. It’s kind of hardware issue.
[Entering the confessional] – It did take me a while to get the “Groupee” pun. Couldn’t see the forest from the trees, or the “Group” from the “pees”.
