Yep! I did say that. In context, we were talking about the use of words that many did not understand. He was very, very smart and extremely well versed. Steve had a lot of good points too. He knew AS backwards and forwards. He was quick to answer any questions. I know he cetainly helped me when I first joined.

To further explain, he sometimes talked a little above some of us and it made it hard to join in the conversation. But not always, I think.

Also,the point of bringing up the old posts was because I was thinking about how we all got along so well and had such a good forum....just thinking aloud.

I am happy with the way the forum is taking off also, Rick. But it is only because you and the others are posting and interchanging with each other's ideas! No matter if you are "selling" this forum or "selling" to other countires, you better be able to talk "corn bread and beans" or "brain surgery"! Everyone wants to communicate at their level and and know it is as important as the next.

Exactly what I said...and the point is?..is it to start something with me once again, Rick? Save your breath. You need to grow up. Good by to you once again! It is impossible to try to post with you and I am tired of trying as a lot that come and did come on here are also. Such a shame. O well, life goes on. I should have listened to the many that told me to please always ignore you!

I think we all are getting along – we all post to each other a lot more than we ever did before, ignoring the ignoring.

Mrs. M, you were right to ignore the pathetic individual in question. He seesaws in and out of his medications, I would imagine, varying between being truly helpful/productive and being the complete jerk that he apparently is. I have always suspected emotional disturbance in his case. Why else would he take such great pleasure in hurting others, even to the point of researching ancient posts to do so?

He is a sad specimen of humanity, and his irritations are not worth your valuable time. Please do ignore him and perhaps one day he will learn to conduct himself respectfully, especially where his elders are concerned.

Now, “bear” with me. Here’s what I don’t understand. If a person finds someone else’s posts disturbing (or what ever word works), then why post to that someone? If it’s completely impossible for that person to ignore that someone’s posts (ergo, not read them), then shouldn’t the person be able to control their emotions, or at a minimum, just laugh it off? Is it possible that the person, although they complain (or what ever word works), really enjoys the bantering? Is it possible that while other people are feeling sorry for the person, that the someone is actually treating her as a person that knows what’s best for her? Remember – any conversation requires at least two people; otherwise it’s a soliloquy.

Rick and Mrs M (in her various guises) have been here forever so, just like a married couple, they row then make up. Yes, R does have apparent mood swings but (very) occasionaly he makes this Brit laugh which is pretty good for a Yank... The whole point of this forum is that it is anonymous (I'm not really R2D2 - cut me, I bleed!) so you can join in or ignore as and when you see fit. You can slag people off (that means be rude to/about them) or be nice. In fact you can do anything you want. Blimey, some people even insist elsewhere that Easter isn't just about hot-cross-buns and chocolate eggs. Well I never...

I just got into a row with some twonk who neutraled me 'cos something that I said was in need of repair and showed as being slightly different colours, wasn't new and the same colour as he had imagined. He had 9 feedbacks, I have a few hundred more. So I pointed out how feedback should work then ignored his pathetic responses until he went away. (Mrs M, maybe you can see the point of that little aside...).
