Thanks Lexie: I got the Lamb yesterday amd will fix it Sat night - some great food. I will print it soon as I get my new printer hooked up. Starting Sunday I must fast for a week to make up for this week of 10 feast days visiting friends. I am from the Montana sheep country and love Lamb. To get it here in NY I have to special order it unless they have a sale. Christmas time there are frozen legs for sale from Australia & New Zealand but at $40 a leg I can't afford it often. I'll marinate the ribs Fri then rotary them Sat. Thanks
I didn't realize leg of lamb was expensive here, Mory! I know it is always in the markets here. I don't care for it so I have never paid attention to the price, but I guess I will have to check it out!
This weekend I bought two racks of Lamb Chops ea with six ribs. I parboiled them then barbecued them & had Spanish rice on the side. Had my firat sweet corn up from Florida. Started the ears in cold water with a cup of sugar - brought it to a boil for 3 minutes. It made 3 day old corn really quite good. Also made a small box of cornbread in a cake pan with a swirl of Orange Marmelade.\ Wish I had a good wine but none left.
That sounds so good. I love lamb chops. Never had them barbequed though.You can come rest at my house anytime. 800 pounds of potato's is not my idea of rest.
