Mornin all Smile Don't have the time to find a coffee pic but I agree Mrs. M & Puppy, More coffee!!!
I'm still here, just sooo busy listing my iris. It's going very well. Wow, does it take alot of time! Next year I'm going to have to get some hired help. The neighbors think I've had a makeover....lost my head and replaced it with my butt. (always bent over in the yard)
Thanks for the turbo lister tips. The only problem I've had with it is locking up, and a couple times it rearranged the pictures! Hmmm, gremlins???
Gee, thanks for the boxes, Puppy! I really need them...and Jake, Gosh, I don't know about taking the whole house! LOL! Jabber, I have gotten pretty good at the southern drawl, living in Tennessee and Florida! LOL!I haven't gotten the closing date yet from the buyer, but before 8/31. You ALL are a hoot!!! Big Grin
MG, I went to excite and then brought up realty.
You could also call 1-800-334-8188 and ask them to send you a book of listings. I think yahoo also has a realty site. Of course there are plenty on google...you just need to look on a map and decide the area. NC is divided into coastal, middle, and mountain, I believe. Pricing there is a lot less than here and about the same as Tennessee. Less than Indiana and Illnois.Taxes are much less too.
We have a tax added on called a "view tax". No thanks to the Chicago crowd moving to Galena (historical town - used to be neat with lots of antiques- now it's just little Chicago and the locals won't go near downtown! ) If we can see two miles or more from our windows we have to pay the extra tax! Somehow that seems illegal.
MG, you have got to be kidding!! My youngest son lived in a suburb of Chicago for a few years. I hated even visiting him there! I know his taxes were high and his property was way too much for what he had...IMO! On the otherhand, he loved it and still goes back to visit often. I guess to each his own.
Puppy, pretty much except my piano that will come probably next week..or when they get the notion! Roll Eyes Can't rush these movers! Wink
Looks like we will get just gail winds and a lot of rain and storm serge here. Nothing compared to the poor folks in ,Punta Gorda Fl. They really have had it terrible. I pray for them.
Jabber, I lived on the Gulf in Fl. so NC beaches are not the same since they are on the Atlantic side. Both are nice but more breezes here . That I enjoy...and the people are so gracious!
The move was the move from hell! Lol! But aren't all moves? I still haven't seen my piano! Guess it is on a world tour! Lol!
How are the shirt sales going,Jabber? We get so many laughs from them!

Not near what I think they should be doing! Roll Eyes Reordered them in ash gray instead of white, hoping demand would be significantly more -- not happened yet! Guess I need to keep my day job, huh? "Welcome to Wal-mart!" Big Grin
I am 3 days late....but...

Good Morning!!! Cool

YAY YAY!!! Its nearly Spring!!!!!

I too am all moved, but no where near unpacked yet. I still have more furniture out on the lawn that I have inside. Maybe that says I need to have a Garage Sale Confused

Rick - if you happen to be around.....will have my puter set back up this weekend hopefully.
We paid $900 for removalists (packed everything ourselves), well worth the expense though. If the leadlighting in my crystal cabinet got damaged (very real concern with Hubbie moving things), it cost around $800 to replace.

I hope your piano has stickers/postcards from all the places it has visited on its journey Mrs M Razz
Lexie, here, it is much higher to have a mover move you! The piano, which is a Baby Grand, was $1500 alone! And, if it is damaged the insurance they give you pays by the pound not the value! Anyway, it still has not showed up. Maybe I will receive it this week...I hope! And, please, Lexie, don't wish it to have stickers on it..what a thought!! Big Grin
Lexie...well...yes!About 900 miles further, but that was just the piano. Furniture is many thousands to move. I think it is better to sell it and start over! I have never used a mover here that I didn't get loss and damage and by the pound, that's not good! Anyway, glad you finally got into your new place. Smile

Good morning from Manila, Philippines. Currently experiencing a very hot weather here. How's everyone? Smile

Another wet and 75 good morning back to you (and everyone). You might note that over the past few years, the board traffic has fallen off tremendously Frown ; there used to be some very interesting threads. Enjoy Manila, I visited Subic Bay several times years back and enjoyed my time there. Never got to Manila, though.

Sorry I was not able to log in for quite some time. I was so busy. Subic is still the same though it's a little bit quiet now. In Manila traffic is so terrible but still a nice place to visit.
