Is everyone else getting this link to work? I have not had success.

I never got the other one to work either, because my filter blocked it for some reason, but this one says invalid url or something.

I confess, I am a novice, largely ignorant of computers, and probably out of place among the experts here. In fact, I am unjustifiably tickled with myself for getting this far. But, no success with previous link. Alas!

I am a bit slow, but I figured it out. I had to delete an underscore - just like you said. Some people! I'm catching on, I hope. I am smart in other things, so I may catch up to technology someday, too, when I get over feeling intimidated.

Anyway, very cool site! Thanks!

As I reread my posted statement (about being smart),I realize it sounds boastful. I am sorry. I am just trying to talk myself out of feeling stupid about computers.

Anyway, as for trying to make things sound clear, I have taught my own kids at home for 20 years, and have taught writing, humanities, speech and debate classes to other homeschoolers for most of that time. I have learned that until I can make myself understood by third graders, I have not really communicated the essence of a subject.

I have also found, to my chagrin, that the best way for me to begin learning a new subject myself is with a book written for third graders! Maybe that is because books for children must systematicaaly cover the core of the topic in a interesting, entertaining narrative while cutting the fluff and technical jargon. Or, maybe that's just where my mental level is!

I guess I need to study a computer course for third graders!

Welcome back Mrs M. Have a friend who always brings back a Pop-Up camper from Florida in the spring when returning and makes a couple hundred which pays for the trip. It also provides a little luggage space in the Isle. Florida is a fantastic place to get a buy on a used Motor Home as well.
Many seniors don't realize how hard they
are to Navigate as well as a husband who may have passed on. I got mine in Orlando - it was sitting in a man's driveway for 8 years - biggest job was to get the brakes going again. But the price was great, I have it parked on 12 Acres and just go over and
spend the weekend once in a while. It's my guest cottage.
I had to shutdown all my acounts and change passwords etc. It was acually quite easy as I bank with Citi-Bank. They handled everything with one phone call to a department called "Identity Theft Solutions"
They used to charge $50 a year but now its a free bank service. Last will be my E-Mail which will I change June lst. I think someone said in a post you can transfer your E-Bay sales record to a new name if its yours - right? Would like to keep my 100%

Littlebit, my daughter has a relative in Ca. that home schooled her children. Quite a job!

Well, gosh, I thank you Jake! I am always glad to be back with my friends!

Yes, it home education can be quite demanding, but quite rewarding, too. I really have enjoyed this time with my family. After my eldest's first seven years of Department of Defense schools overseas, then public and private schools in Washington and California, we decided to try teaching him ourselves. (Long story!) That was in the early 80's so homeschooling was still largely unknown and a little scary. But we worked the bugs out finally and it has become our preferred lifestyle. We have quite a network here now, so it is much easier than in the early days.

Anyway, at least I'm never bored!

Littlebit, I'll bet not! Sometimes I feel like I am home schooling my grand children! I cannot believe what they don't know!

I'm not too surprised at what my kids don't know - they're kids. It's what I don't know that astounds me!

Mrs. M - anyway, your grandkids are blessed to have your guidance! What would they do without you?

I have three grandkids so far, all in the Dallas area. Wish they were closer!

I hear you there, my grandkids are in Belgium!! tooooo far away.

I wish I was there today. We got up to a flooded basement office. Our house is only 7 years old, and last year when it rained 12 inches we didn't get a drop. This time it rained a couple inches and something must be plugged up in our drain. Worst part is I think my main computer is dead
