Yes, it home education can be quite demanding, but quite rewarding, too. I really have enjoyed this time with my family. After my eldest's first seven years of Department of Defense schools overseas, then public and private schools in Washington and California, we decided to try teaching him ourselves. (Long story!) That was in the early 80's so homeschooling was still largely unknown and a little scary. But we worked the bugs out finally and it has become our preferred lifestyle. We have quite a network here now, so it is much easier than in the early days.
Anyway, at least I'm never bored!
