Thanks Mrs M:

will check them right out.
Have to make my mechanic some Kentucky Fried Chicken for lunch in my new Duo Pressure Cooker by Fogor. Just takes 10 minutes then a few more for a potatoe. I always wanted a Fogor High Temp Cooker and sniped one before Christmas. You can't tell it wasn't made by the Col Himself. Wish I had bought one 40 years ago. I can do a tough roast in 12 min you can cut with a fork - but mainly I bought it for making KFC Chicken. I gave away my regular pressure cooker it was worthless compared to the Fogor.
When I was young, A friend of my owned a motel. He also had a small cafe attached. One day an old man came in in a run down Caddy. He took out a larg pressure cooker from the trunk. The old man told my friend, for $50.00 he could have a franchise for his chicken from Richmond, In. to the Il. boarder, including the pot! My friend turned him down! Yep, you guessed ! True story! Smile

Great Mrs M: My dad wanted me to join him in a CAR franchise for Fairbanks when I came back from service. I wouldn't go half of $5000 as he was treating Mom badly. When he sold he had 400 cars and got a fortune - gave it all to the Assembly Of God - says he bought a seat in Heaven for him and My stepmother. Hope they are happy Down There.
I also could have bought my uncles booth selling eyeglasses on the Queen Mary. He failed to tell me he was making over a thousand a day on bad days. Now that I call missing the Boat but good...
MG Welcome Back: The FOGOR is a precision
pot that cooks at HIGH pressure. The water Inside the chicken EXPLODES IN THE oil. It doesn't soak up the oil at all if you take the chicken out immediately after cracking the lid open. I got mine second hand so didn't get the book with it but have no problems. I use a standard
chicken spice with flower - sometime I dip in egg first and sometimes not. I am also playing with a flower that I add corn starch & baking Soda in also a Japanese batter mix - all come out different The unique flavor comes from the High Temp not the flavorings. All that bit about 12 spices is nonsense. Hype.
I have browned a small tough beef chuck roast then added a glass of water & Spoon of Corn Starch & some onion - slapped on the Lid for 12 minutes on High - got a rich brown gravy on a roast you can cut with a fork. No good for veggies with the meat as they overcook and are rags in minutes.
Drop in a whole frozen chicken and the meal is done in minutes. There is No Other cooking method that will do this - NONE.
Sometimes I do Large potato wedges with flower & Paprika ( egg Dipped) then. Drop them in fat for 4 min with lid On. Fantastic
Golden Taters. It would take 20 minutes to French Fry these or 45 in the Oven.

I did a Breaded Cordon Bleu -chick breast - It tasted fantastic but the cheese came out . Dipped veggies & Onions are better deep fried in the same oil after the chicken comes out as it cooks
too fast for me to handle the results.
It's also a great pasta pot without the lid.

Crispy Chicken Strips are fantatic in 4 minutes
You have to practice locking on the lid FAST
Chicken I let cook a minute lid off then slap it on fast for the pressure. It's crispier.
Thanks Mrs.M, I finished a doll today!! Yeaaaa, first one since my surgery. It's about time Roll Eyes I'll get it listed tonight. Now my goal is to never let my listings go dry. Keeps the shoppers checking back on me. Smile Why do I get in those non-productive streaks when I know we REALLY need me to make some $$$??? Confused

Mory, I'm going to go look at those things closer. It sounds really interesting. I don't want anything "greasy", but it sounds like this isn't.

The best things in life are furry....and flowers!
...Mory's sig.pic. should have something to do with cooking! Even though he is very knowledgable and experienced in a lot of things, some neat chef or cook pic/cartoon would be dandy sig for him! Big Grin I'm usually drooling 'til I get to the end of a lot of his posts! Big Grin
