Yes,
I can quickly add a feature so that users can customize their time zone. But where specically would like you to see EST times? I know when a snipe is active, it says (for example) "22 hours, 15 minutes" left. But when the auction has ended, it will say "Ended on... 1/10/02 12:53:21".

Actually, i meant in EBAY. not in AS. when you view an auction in ebay, it is in PST. in AS, the hourly thing is cool.

I'm not sure if you can change time on eBay from PST to any other time zone. Does anyone else know?

I'm not aware of any way to change how eBay displays the time. It can really be a nuisance to those of us who don't have the knack for instantaneous conversion. I installed xReminderPro with which I keep a small clock on top of all windows. Many other super features, by the way (http://www.xreminder.com).

So far as I know there's no electronic way to change eBay time to your local time. I live on the East Coast so I just take the military time shown by eBay and (if it's greater than 12) just add three to it. For example, if eBay says the time is 1900 then by adding 3 I get 2200. Convert to non-military time by subtracting 12 from that, which gives you 10 PM. Maybe you could just type out a chart for the comparative times, print it out and keep it handy by your computer if you don't do well at mental math.

I know how to convert times, i just forget that is is in pacific time sometimes.
I use both the ebay.co.uk site and the ebay.com site. The UK site uses GMT for all ebay times. As it is 8hours ahead of PST, I get even more confused! As the identical items are listed on both sites, it looks possible for ebay to run the clock/time for the right time zone. Why do I use both sites--I get access to indivdual countries lists easier that way.
If you think you're confused now, wait until Daylight Savings Time goes into effect. Then GMT will be only 7 hours ahead of PDT. But seriously, if it causes you problems, why not set up and print out a chart of equivalents to your time zone under PDT and GMT and post it somewhere near your computer?
