Has anyone established how long between auctions in a bid group before second item is bid on if first item in bid group is not won. I've encountering several identical items ending from 15 to 30 seconds apart and would just leave one out if bid won't be placed waiting for win confirm on first, or the chance of winning 2 auctions in group.

15 seconds is plenty.

Just be sure to use a 5 second lead time so that we'll have enough time to see if you won before we place the second and third bids in your bid group.

If the items were 15 seoncs apart and you used a 14 second lead time that would only give us 1 second to figure out if you won or not and we probably couldnt do it that quickly and so we'd have to cancel the bid on the second item. But then we could do the bid on the third.

Hopefully that's what the "click heres" say.

ebay is a very, very STRANGE place - at least the bidding habits (addictions) of some buyers. After all, where else do you see something called a "nibbler" trying to buy something.
Rick, if I may rant. I've never seen many things get out of whack as quickly as Ebay has in last year. Total lobotomy of personality and as well as the friendly one to one dealing. You can buy a book on Ebay to teach you how to scam on Ebay, ironic. It seems like the whole thing just got corrupted.
I just use A/S to avoid the hassle anymore, get in get out. Like Ron Popeele says "just set and forget it".

Rick, it just seems like in 2002 if I asked a seller a question I got a hi, how are you, shipping is ****** thanks, and some personal feedback. Now in the last year I'm getting - 12.99, no hi or bye, just a "quit wasting my time attitude". That's one reason I keep a long list of favorite sellers. By the way I've never nibbled but it seems counter productive. They probably have the large refresh icon.
