If I use a snipe and I already am the highest bidder, will AS outbid me on my own bid. Obviously, using the same ebay account, so I am assuming that AS would recognize it as my bid, but just wanted to be sure.

AS will send your snipe no matter what.
eBay, however, will recognize you as the same person and you will not be bidding against yourself.
A small percentage of the time the price may go up slightly. If you are the current high bidder, but your bid is not a full increment above the next bidder, eBay will increase the price to a full bid increment when your next bid is placed.
example:
Bidder A's max is 75.50
Your max bid is 76.00
If you now snipe for $83, you will win for $76.50 (one full increment above A's max)
