AS will send your snipe no matter what.

eBay, however, will recognize you as the same person and you will not be bidding against yourself.

A small percentage of the time the price may go up slightly. If you are the current high bidder, but your bid is not a full increment above the next bidder, eBay will increase the price to a full bid increment when your next bid is placed.

example:

Bidder A's max is 75.50
Your max bid is 76.00

If you now snipe for $83, you will win for $76.50 (one full increment above A's max)

ps You will be charged a fee or a free snipe if AS bids for you and you win... even if you would have won without the snipe.
