I am new to Auction Sniper today and I already had a bid on an item in eBay, then I put a slightly higher bid into Auction Sniper for the same item. Assuming no-one else bids, will this mean that I will be bidding against myself? or will Auction Sniper realise that I already have a regular bid on that item??
If AS is not clever enough to realise this, then I might need to delete my AS bid for this item.

So that makes it clear on whether or not you'd get charged for the snipe, but I think Pixelwarrior's question was how does that affect the final value of the auction? In the example given, if you already have a bid on eBay for $10 and a snipe for $15...when the snipe goes through, would it raise the final value of the item to $15, or would it just be seen by eBay as you raising your proxy bid, in which case the item would still end at $10 assuming you were the only bidder?
