Hi Everybody!
I'm hoping my suggestion has been sent on to the developers but wondered if any of you felt the same way I do? On the report that is provided at the conclusion of an auction, they show us whether we won or lost, the ending time of the auction, etc. That‘s great but the most important information to me is the TIME that the snipe was placed on my behalf. That is the whole point in paying ...the TIME they can bid on my behalf before an auction ends. I‘m happy to pay for the service but feel that it is their DUTY to report the service that we, as their clients are paying for...the time the snipe actually took place! While I can go to ebay to get this info under history ...it is THEM that I am paying. If they could only report ONE thing to me, I would want it to be the TIME OF THE SNIPE. I do want to say that I LOVE everything else about the service & although I'm a newbie, have been VERY pleased so far! I have been a member of ebay for a long time & saw the benefit of sniping early on. I have always sniped on my own & loved the anticipation as the seconds counted down, just before I sniped! I have recently lost a few auctions because I could not be at a computer just before the ending of the auction & had to bid early (by a few hours). Although I used the proxy bidding, the nibblers would come along & finally nibble their way to just above my max. That is why I am now using AS! So what are your thoughts on my suggestion???

Not sure that the time is really relevant for me - if I win then I won - hooray! If I lose then I can check on ebay...

Send suggestions to suggestions@auctionsniper.com as they rarely come by here!

R2 (I just spent some time with some Yanks and they weren't too bad. Taught them some English P's and Q's as I hate 'Can I get' instead of 'Please can I have'. I got the impression that they quite liked me too. What is the world coming to!)

ps. two winning snipes tonight!

As far as telling me when the snipe was actually placed, I really do not care; I WON and that is ALL that matters. If I did not win, then "so what?". Beside a check of the bid history will show that information.
