First... WELCOME to the forum.

If the auction states they ONLY accept PayPal, I guess your out of luck. You can't set up a PayPal account, or don't want to?

I'd never bid on an item if I didn't get an answer to an email.

Don't bid, or cancel your bid. (reason - can't contact seller)
If the auction has already ended, you may have a 'Non Paying Bidder' feedback on the way.
he replies to some of the emails but not all of them. My only thing is this every time i email him my question i request that he calls me and i give him my cell number to verify who he is but he has yet to answer my question or reply to anything remotely resembling a remark to why or will he call me. He has like 4 positive responses and he gave me an address to mail him a money order and told me after the money order clears he will ship me out my helmet. I reply saying you dont have to wait for a money order to clear just cash it its as good as money in hand. Just need some advice because i tried to look up his address on the www and there is no listing for his name or address. THe address is real but i cant seem to match the name with it and he wont call me are basically my two concerns.

Please someone help me figure out if this is a bogus deal or am i just paranoid! I have won the item and i am just trying to cover my bases with this guy but to me it just doesnt seem right and i dont wanna lose out on 200 bucks but i want my item. HELP lol

The auction is over... Now it's your turn.

If he wanted a PayPal payment it's probably not a hoax. (PayPal has a protection policy) He has said he will accept a money order, and assume you have his address.

It's your turn now. Send payment. If he wants to wait a few days to clear... big deal. With a feedback of 4, he's new to eBay and may not realize a money order is (almost) as good as cash.

p.s. I don't think I would call someone just because they asked me to. If you want to verify who you are dealing with >Click Here< and goto 'Contact Info'.
I dunno it just doesnt seem like good business if your customer asks you a question but doesnt answer it and just goes right around it. I did a search and verifed his address and got a number but no answer.I am new to ebay as well and it just seems too easy to rip someone off and get away with it especially dealing with people over the internet whom you dont know or trust or havent even seen a face of ya know!
I really think he is not a crook, rather a stickler for rules set in his auctions and he simply does not care to discuss it any further than on the auction page. Read his feedback. Has he had problems? And, actually, it is not a good idea to post his auction name on a forum! It could get you an Ebay TOS!

So you dont think i have anything to worry about at all?
You are always taking a chance every time you use eBay. Will I promise you won't have a problem?... No way could I do that. All I can say is that most buyers and sellers on eBay are honest folks like myself.

The time to get your concerns out of the way is before you bid, not after you have a binding contract and it's set in stone. You've made your purchase and now have an obligation to pay up.
Modified title? For what?
What is being high strung have to do with covering your own butt? I would rather be safe than sorry and that is all i was trying to do before i sent 200 dollars of my hard earned money in the mail. I see nothing wrong with that at all its just the seller had a email issue i want familiar with so thats why i posted a thread in this forum to resolve the issue and its done , over with , and im off to get some more stuff ready for sale on ebay!
