There is
www.susannahscombs.com She is a reputable private purveyor of antique & vintage combs and bakelite jewelry. Her celluloid combs are quarantined and generally garnered from collectors with quality items that have been properly stores, such as, celluloid not stored in direct sunlight, in plastic bags and such so that the 'disease' or 'virus' is less of a risk. For those not in the know about the disease/virus, celluloid is made of camphor (later plastics are not such as lucite) and this can 'outgas' and 'infect' other celluloid items. Such a comb with this problem has a fractured area where it's crackled looking from the inside of the plastic in that singular spot, or selected spots, AND is accompanied by a high yellow color unlike the color of the comb, even if a clear or light apple juice color.
