To state the obvious, it is very inconvenient to have Auction Sniper site down. I thought, in this day and age, a site like this would have failover facilities in a different physical location? Or can't you afford that? Or have you been hit by something that affected multiple sites? The web site error message now displayed (some hours after the outage started) says "For updates on this, please check the Community Forum"so I was a bit surprised that there were no recent messages here!

Hello Westnab -
Unfortunately we have encountered technical difficulties and our engineers are working to resolve the issue as rapidly as they are able. At this time we do not have an ETA on when the difficulty will be resolved, but we will update this thread as soon as more information regarding the issue becomes available.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Problems can happen, people who trusted auctionsniper lost some auctions because you were down.
The least you could do is to give informations on what happened. Have you been hacked ? were credentials stolen ?
Can we use the site safely now ?
Hello PascalG -
The site was not hacked and no data breach has occurred - there are currently issues that our engineers and those at our ISP are looking into. We expect to have a more complete message about this situation in the near future. Currently you may experience temporary issues with the site as the situation is not wholly resolved, but again, there has been no breach.
Apologies for the continued inconvenience.
