Eh-Oh Mike,

Rick, have you been watching Teletubbies on BBC TV?

Some new controversy or something unusually exciting happening?

I will confess to a fondness for Tubby Custard and Tubby Toast, but there’s probably several of us closet Tubby lovers (alternate lifestyle). Do you have any favorite character?

Any idea what the shaded areas represent?

Haven't watched it for a while, Rick - unless the occasional glance at the Windoze XP default desktop counts

We now have a container full of them ready to ship, and a few left over to put into 'its' when not a possessive.

_Add another one to the list of fora?_
Er, which one?

Dunno, but it has to be good as Australia is shaded
Be careful; the U.S. is also shaded. But then, Europe (including the French, now called Patriot, fries makers), South Africa, Japan, Canada, Turkey, a chunk of Indochina, and most of South America are shaded.

I’d say the British Empire, but the absence of shading for India and way too much shading for the West screws up that statement. But, it could still be considered a British Empire of sorts – it’s the Empire of Teletubbies. Here’s the text: “The Teletubbies are a global programme success. Commissioned by the BBC and made by Ragdoll Productions under the direction of Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport, they set out from Britain to conquer the world. Television companies in over 60 countries have acquired the broadcasting rights (see map of the world).”

The one you’re currently reading.

I suspected you would research this.

Crap, this is getting hard to read. I'm half tempted to remove that picture.

Information is a Google away. Kind of makes knowledge a fuzzy concept. But, it still took some time to find the article.

Until Mike brought this up, I wasn’t aware of Teletubbies. I also wasn’t aware that they could create so much controversy. This topic may need a PG rating.

Here’s the article:

The last paragraph was interesting, but I don’t get out that much.

Was that a quiz, or a question?
