I'm not sure why you consider this auction "spamming". I see an auction for a set of wrenches at what appears to be a good price. The seller mentions that he "only has 2 sets left"; everything else seems to be normal inclusions: "check my feedback", "check my other auctions", etc. I did notice that some numbers are missing from your link so maybe the auction that I see when clicking on your link is a different one.

long URLs are automatically truncated in message display - Infopop

Truncation is substituted with "...". This avoids the post falling off the end of the screen.

WIN's link and Dave's link brings up the same auction.
i had a set of COBALT wrench that I tried to sell and the ad reads like this "Cobalt metric wrenches 10 pieces not snap on.
See there, they canceled my ad for putting the word "SNAP ON" .Its bassically the same ad that this guy placed,he mentioned snap on but those crappy wrench sure aint snap on.
Maybe i should cancel the word "NOT"on my ad?
Im just trying to get more hit coz ive noticed on a lot of ads on ebay has a lot of captivating words eventhough what they have on their ad is not really what the item is.
Say for example some people would sell a generic brand and they would put a name brand on their ad,Im sure thats how they get buyers to go to their auction ive seen a guy selling a kmart jeans and on his ad it reads "brand new pair of mens jeans levis lee wrangler. so i checked it and it was one of those kmart brand.
I hope you guys are getting what Im trying to explain here.
Yes, you are right. If you reword the ad and do not say not Snap on, I think they will accept it. They consider you are saying it this way in order to get someone's attention by using the brand name and hoping the buyer won't notice not. Likewise, you cannot say ..I think this is an gucci purse, etc.
You will have to leave out the words SNAP ON for it not to get cancelled.

Its called Search Manipulation and I got stung for it last week, mine was a *not-enough-sleep-when-typing-mistake* LOL.

I had mentioned a well known clothes brand in the title, and in the description, described the item as being a different brand.

In the past I have been done for listing UGG Style boots, when they werent UGG brand.
Thing that annoyed me was that there were 3 other listings using UGG when they shouldnt of straight under mine...but mine was the only one cancelled LOL. Thats ebay for ya Cool

The seller in that link is in DEFINATE violation of search manipulation and you could report them to the appropiate VERO site (Snap On's Site) or just ebay direct.
I hope so serenity. Its just not fair.Theres thousand out there using this kind of search manipulation.Im thinking of buying this book ebay secret
