Haven't seen a dancing Joshua Tree since I left Yucca Valley....The desert will bloom this year - It's snowing for the first time in years. First came the Fires, then the Rain & Mudslides, now Snow -can you believe. The little Echinoactus that blooms in Red is now Violet. Somebody is messing with Mother Nature.
Finally, something getting posted in "Something". I was beginning to think that only "Nothing" would get something, and that "Something" would get nothing.
Actually, mine is a Dancing Saguaro, but I didn't want to be accused of over-literalism... It's a debilitating disease that affects us editors over time...

Not quite... what am I doing wrong? First time was just the picture, second time was the beginning of the topic -- how do I get to that post? I think I'm right-clicking in the wrong place to get the URL out of properties...
1 Click on forum tab 2 at the bottom search for 'Joshua Tree' 3 in the list of posts with Joshua Tree, click on the post by Mrs.M 4 That's the URL you want.
The way you have to look at it is like letting your kids get married and move away... Kind of sad, but you DO want to see it happen. They have bigger and better things to do than hang around and keep me company. That also makes room for the next pup to come in and take their place.
Puppy, yes, I am sure you are right! I thin k it might be a little hard for a lot of peole to do...however, I don't especially get attached to animals...yes, I do like them, but they are not human, so I could do it. Guess a lot of it stems from having many hunting dogs come and go as well as horses.
