Today I won an item that I was not bidding on.
Maybe what happen was that I imported to auction sniper all my watching auctions.
Is that possible that even non checked items are bidded automaticaly?

I say this because other 2 strange things hapend when I used the importation method: in one auction, although the item was already about 185 Pounds, Auction Sniper did not warned me about that and kept on saying that the snipe was ready, when evidentely the snipe was to low already.
One other strange this was this: after I imported the items, I tryed to update the list but It kept on saying that the auction number XXXXXXXXX had a bid to low...when I looked for it in the table, that item was not there.

Please advise.

Hello again.

I did not understand your answer.
I have read all the FAQ but I think the situation I described it´s not there.
I don´t know what to do.
Maybe I should send an email to auctionsniper?

At the "Won Snipes" I saw that I had there a Maximum bid of 155 USD, something I would never do since the item had a buy it now of 89 USD.
So this was defenitely some kind of mistake.

I have already sent an email to ebay, and I have received an automatic response that somewhere along says that If have have won an item by mistake I should talk to the seller.

I did that, and the seller has said that He understands my problem and wants to help me, but he does not want to pay ebay the fees for an auction that he will not receive any money.

However, it seems that according ebay policies, in case the seller file for a fee credit, I will get a unpaid strike in my account...what does this means? That I will get a negative feedback or any other bad information?

Aprecciate all your help.

Best Regards
Nuno
I'm pretty new at this but it is my understanding that when you import a snipe(i.e. import it from your Ebay watch list) it automatically sets a bid for you in the snipe settings. If you then click ok to import the snipe(s) it is entered as a snipe ready to be entered at the default time of 5 seconds.

Did you import any other snipes from your watch list? If so, perhaps you accidentally added this one as well without noticing.

I can't help you with the lack of "bid too low" notification or the missing item in your list.
I'm at a loss as to how Auction Sniper can, by importing a list of items from your watched items list on Ebay, automatically decide to place a snipe for you.

How it works is that it will only place a snipe for you if you check the box next to the item and click on Import Snipes. Even then, the bid amount is the next increment above the current price.

So - either you did it (no more to say - get that memory tested) or AS messed up. Obviously for the latter I suggest you contact AS immediately via the HELP tab and get them to check.

[Try the Import Wizard yourself - make sure you have some Watched Items then click away - you can always cancel any unwanted snipes at the end of the practice!]

I definetely did not messed up.
I just saw my snipes, around 20 or so, and at least 3 had completely wrong maximum values. For instance.
Thank God I went to check this out.
Also I noticed that AS Imported Snipes are not "following" the auction as it should.
For instance, I had you snipe for a Mac computer with a maximum of 76 Euros, and the snipe was in "Ready Mode" with a "currently value" of 72 Euros.
When I clicked to check the item at ebay, the value was higher. So basically, it should have already say "Bid too low..."
