At 0920 PDT on 18 Aug 04 I had just refreshed the page, when I noted:
that I had 2 Snipes that were shown as "Ready" when they were Not!

3694386298 was listed as "Currently US10.50"
when in fact it had a Bid of $21.50 placed at Aug-18-04 03:48:12 PDT

2263274825 was listed as "Currently: US $225.00"
when in fact it had been purchased with a "Buy Now @ $225.00" at Aug-17-04 17:48:51 PDT.

Ready only means your bid is ready to be placed.

I'm afraid AS isn't very good at keeping prices up to date. They update prices and bids from time to time, but they are not dependable enough to count on during the auction. To get current prices, you must click the 'update prices' button on your My Snipes page.

Best to watch and monitor auction close at eBay.

You did enter your real, true, maximum max didn't you? Remember you can't modify or cancel a bid in the last 2-3 minutes of an auction. Wink

... WELCOME to the forum.
We still place a snipe, even though someone used Buy It Now, that's why it still says ready. It's just in case there was any error detecting whether it was still up for auction or not. Better for us to always snipe it then for us to think someone won it and not snipe then find out later it was a bug in the system due to some eBay change that made us think the item had sold.
