Snipe not updating

I imported an auction from my watch list in Ebay and it took the existing bid as well as automatically set my bid by the proxy. My problem or so I think is that it doesn't update the higher bids for that auction. If I click on the Ebay auction number it show the new bid bit AS still shows it as I first imported it. I am going to go ahead and manually enter my max bid on this auction but would like to see the auto increment max feature work.

Let me ask you this so I am understanding. When you import a auction AS doesn't require you to enter a max bid. It is supposed to increase itself as the price of the auction increases, correct?

To avoid a delay in bringing up your "My Snipes" page, AS updates this information during off hours on newer auctions. The longer away the closing date is, the less frequent this information is updated. As the auction closing gets closer, AS updates this information more frequently. But if you're going to depend on the high bid amount from "My Snipes", it's best to use "Update items info".

Back to your question: AS will place only one snipe for you, and that's the amount you specify. It's no different then you placing a proxy bid - it's just that AS does it a few seconds before the close of the auction. If it tried to just place incremental bids, someone might come in at the last couple of seconds and snipe over you. AS wouldn't have the time to respond. YOU'VE GOT ONE SHOT (or in this case, snipe) - SO MAKE IT YOUR BEST.
