Very strange. Maybe it has something to do with your "Thumbnails" setting on "Modify Account" under "My Snipes" tab?

Also, maybe this will help. It's from AS' faq:
Why does the picture not show up when the auction has a photo? (or)
Why is the picture on my Snipe page different than the picture on eBay?

The reason it’s not 100% accurate is because there is no easy way of getting the perfect picture from the auction, since the picture sizes vary so greatly.

This is from another post:

"Just out of interest, what is the algorithm the programmers use to decide which photo to use? Is it just the last one on the page?"

It's a combination of things based on which software or listing service they use to list their auctions, or if they list them on eBay directly. Then there are large amounts of blocked images that keep us from getting things like paypal logos, then there are positional things in the description.

My guess is that we hit about 75-80% of the images correctly. Then maybe another 5-10% get another image that is still of the item, and then maybe 10% that are just plain wrong.

Does this "animated graphic of a note tacked to a wall" appear in the auction listing?

Thank you, thank you. I had never looked at the bottom of the listing. Near the end of it is the same graphic, which buyers are supposed to click on if they want to contact the seller. It still drive me nuts when I see it, but now I know that I can just ignore it.
Ya, we try our best to find the best image to use but some sellers put crazy images all over the place and we just cant figure out the right one. It's amazing it gets it right as much as it does given all the variation in sellers listings and where they put their photos and all the other UPS trucks, paypal images, and everything else in them that isnt a picture of what is being sold.
I turned "Thumbnails" off. This is a personal preference, but to me it was a nuisance. On the secured "My Snipes" page, it caused an "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items" warning. Also, it takes extra resources to display the picture(s).

Others probably find the picture helpful, but I found it to clutter up the page.
