Hi, I was tired of getting outbid at the last second so I am trying this format. My question is how does this work with a reserve price. I have placed my max bid, it is twice the current bid amount. The reserve has not been met yet. Just wanted to know anyones experience on this. Thanks

This is from the FAQ’s:
If your snipe doesn’t meet the reserve (and you were the last or highest bidder), eBay will only display the next increment over the previous bidder. They will not display your max.

The key in that quote is, “eBay will only display the next increment over the previous bidder”. That’s what is happening. If this bidder does reach the reserve, then that bid will advance beyond the increment (which is where it's "stuck at") to the reserve amount.
