Hello! I am new to the Forum but have been lurking for awhile. I recently changed my email address and some of my wins are not showing on Auction Sniper. The same is happening with the MyEbay page. My email changed so that could be problem.....Is there a way to view what is in the folders or bid groups?
Maybe I still don't understand what the folders can be used for?

Folders and BidGroups.

On your 'My Snipes' page, next to choose folder you can select the folder you want to view, or select All Snipes to view everything. You can also 'Choose Snipes' (just above Choose Folder) for what you want to view.

Folders are just a convenient way of separating and keeping track of auctions. For example, you could have one folder named 'his' and another named 'hers'. Personally, I don't use these very much if at all.

If you designate a folder as being a 'Bid Group' it becomes special. I find it very useful and DO use bid groups. Lets suppose you want to buy a printer ink cartridge. You can place 20 or so auctions for your printers cartridge into a bid group folder, tell AS you want to win one. AS will bid on all auctions in that bid group until your one is won. After your win the remaining snipes are automatically canceled.

Hope that helps, and WELCOME from me as well.

Bid groups are great. but I am trying to figure out how to make a bidgroup the default folder that pops up when I am adding a snipe. I sometimes have half a dozen essentially the same items that I want to put into a bid group one after an other. Is there a way to have that Bid group come up each time I process a snipe?

You can for viewing snipes already entered, but no, not when you're entering snipes. (or it's just that I haven't figured how either) I've found it easiest to enter all into 'My Snipes' then come to AS and move them all at the same time into the proper folder. You can do that by ticking the little box on the left of all the auctions you want to move, then (at the top) select the 'Move to' folder and click the button.

I use >Snipe it Now< on a links toolbar. You can select the folder the snipe goes into, but you seem to have to select it each time and I always forget to do that at least once, so I have to come back to AS and check myself anyway.

You might want to request a feature like this be writen. You can do that at suggestions@auctionsniper.com. Folder choice could be saved in a cookie. I think I'd want it to default back to 'My Snipes' after Logout though.
