TeAnne, Hello and to the forum.

Not to worry. Sounds like a bug in the time display. Since you enter your snipe as 'seconds before auction end' it should not matter what time zone you set. Your bid should (and I assume will) be sent those number of seconds before auction end.

If you would like to send a trouble report to verify that with support, you can do it at http://support.auctionsniper.com/

We've had several Ausies on the forum that have been using AS for some time. If snipes were being placed hours early or late, I'm sure the forum would have heard about it.

Good Luck, and let us know?
TeAnne - don't lose any sleep over it - the display time is totally and utterly irrelevant. If you look at the My Snipes page you'll see that, for each snipe, it has a display of, for example:
ends
2d 4h 11m 0s
08/06/2004 20:12:06

This doesn't move unless you press the [Update Prices] button as it is just a snapshot of the snipe. (Not quite true - you can set it to count down if you want - click on [_ modify account _] but this is a bit pointless in my humble opinion!).
Back to the display - in this example it means that the item has 2 days and 4 hours to go and it finishes at 12 minutes past 8 in the time zone I've specified under [_ modify account _] - British Summer Time.

Rest assured that AS doesn't care what time zone you or the item you want is in - it just works out the number of seconds to close and snipes at the appropriate time (depending on your lead time and the response times of the network and the servers).
