I believe it's due to the failure of our switch yesterday. A switch is like a circuit breaker in a house. All the traffic going into our out of a web site goes through that piece of equipment.

One of the programmers will likely have to look into it. It should be resolved tomorrow. Since we've never had an equipment failure like that I'm not sure it was programmed in to handle such a scenario. That's about the only thing I can figure.

I'll have them check it out first then when they come in.

Thank you.
Ok, the locked snipes that didn't go off is fixed. Our system checked and updated the status as well.

Thank you for your patience.

The rest of your snipes should not be locked. What we do is lock snipes right before we place them for you. This gets rid of the problem of someone going in and removing a snipe that we're right in the middle of placing.

What happened last night is that we locked them to go place the snipe, but due to the switch being down our computer that does the bidding couldn't get to eBay to snipe. Thus the snipes remained locked because the computer didn't know if the item had been bid on or not.

We just ran them through again and they are not reporting the correct status, and have been unlocked.

So snipes set now should be fine, and not be locked, and will go off as planned.
Thanks you.
