Jabbergah: Sorry I didn't catch your question earlier.. My Tama Drums are a full Super Star Set with Zildjian cymbels up tp a three foot Chinese Crash. This Monster set-up was used as a centerpiece for a Famous Canadian Rock Band US Tour. All the parts I assume were donated for advertising - retail in excess of 10M. There were four sets being leap frogged ahead of the band. This set ended up in NY for a final show at the NY State Fair. It was bought for cash by a young talented drummer at the end of the show, A year later he joined the Air Force Band. His parents held the mortgage and put it up for sale to pay for the sons wedding as he then had a pregnant fiance. Then I came along having read drum for sale Ads for years.
I have owned the set 12 years. I have loaned it out for a Statewide Battle of The Bands competition - it was stolen once - the kid got 2 years in jail - and a group wanted to buy it and the story for a movie. But I kept it.. I think now too long. I have been polishing brass all winter and have it back up looking really good. I am thinking of
offering it delivered in the NY PA CT area. People want it shipped and thats asking for trouble. No problem with the hardware as have heavy black Road cases for that. but the drums
have only soft covers. Actually I wanted to buy a page in a Drum magazine. and I died when I saw how little that page sold for that was on the Forum. Love to trade it for a Piano - but I can't play that well either... (I played the Trombone) ... after hearing : Sentimental Journey .. mory
