Newbie wants to know???

Hello, this site looks pretty new?? how safe is it to give out your Ebay password etc. on here, that's what they need right? to snipe for you?. Can they then access your paypal etc.?
I try to snipe sometimes, but I have dial up, so how will this help me again???

Hi, and welcome!

AS has been around several years. Yes, AS needs your eBay ID and password so they can bid for you. Your PayPal password can be different, so no, they can not access your PayPal account.

The point of sniping is to be able to place a last second bid giving other bidders little or no time to counter. You can do this manually, hovering over your computer at odd hours of the day and/or night, or you can let a service like AS do that for you.

A quick check and I find that AS was first 'online' in 2000 - take a look by clicking [_ here _]. It comes up as EBUD but was definitely on the Auctionsniper domain name.

Auctionsniper (as we know it) appeared about June 2001. [_ more _] - note the Ebay Status box - whatever happened to that feature?
