Interesting Way to Market Your Website!

Wow, I had no idea there were so many snipe sites. I didn't go thru all of them. Has any one else compared the costs?

I could probably live for week on the listing fees alone.

Think about it logically - this statement is absolute nonsense! If you decide to snipe, you choose one of the several competing services. OK, so a small percentage are not happy with their first choice and drift off to another.

However it is no good having a portal and expecting it to earn money if people make a descision and are then static!
A portal only works as a revenue earner if you can entice people back regularly (as I know to my cost!) Best examples of this are Kelkoo and other cheapest price generators.

I suspect this is why he added the Auction house links to generate some return visits.

So if you were about to spend $500,000 on this, my advice is don't! If this was really an advert, there are a lot more effective ways of doing this on ebay.

Ha ha ha, this guy came to us to write the site a few days ago. OF COURSE IT would be the best site if we wrote it! Ha ha ha! DOH! $5-$10 million per year, ha ha ha, and I'd know since we're the biggest snipe site. Sniping must suck because another auction he has listed says

We wrote our site, we run our site, we have the best site. I guess if you'd like to patronize the site of someone after just the $$$, that didnt write the site, and probably could care less whether your snipes went off this would be a great site. Then what happens when eBay makes a change? He hires us again? Ha ha ha. It's shameful, pure promotion, something he seems to good at though at least.

I must say, I am a little taken back that you would post company affairs such as this! I surely have no interest in his site or advertising. It is just that your post surprised me!

That said, I think Sara's attitude is very similar to everyone else I've spoken to at AS - maybe it's a one-man-band and they just change the names to confuse us?!

Sara - instead of this sort of response, can I ask that you answer more postings of a technical nature and let us know more about what is going on behind the scenes to improve/fix AS?
