Awww Lexie, now admit it -- you chuckled when you read those last 2 lines! Wink Man, those guys were creepy/annoying in those chat rooms! Always asking ages/sex/marital status -- bleah! Roll Eyes When they'd ask M/F or Married/Single, I'd always type in "Yes". Wink I don't think they very much liked me! Wink

Now you realize that since we never can REALLY know for sure, LosingSleep will claim to be whichever will please the one of us they like the best. Since BOTH of us stomped all over them, it's STILL a toss-up! Razz

My guess is Losing will claim to be a guy, 'cause you have a cuter sig.line! Razz

Hey Lexie!

LosingSleep probably is one of the newbies with a different name we've already welcomed to the forum lately asking sniping questions! Incognito, as it were! Learning how to WIN on eBay instead of WHINE! Wink

Glad I was able to give you a chuckle! Big Grin

Puppy,

You mean the one about feedback through AS? That's a pretty specialized topic for a "newbie", isn't it? I have NOTHING to contribute to that topic! I'm CLUELESS, because I've NEVER done feedback from AS! I was hoping maybe you could help them out? Wink

Jabbergah
Hey Puppy,

I just looked at it, and actually it looks pretty slick! You click on the WINS tab. Any of your wins for which you've not left FB will have a "Leave Feedback" button. Click on there and it will bring up a nice FB window. There are even some "boilerplate" feedbacks to select from or you can type your own!

I might use it!

I think LosingSleep is reading my e-book -- thats why we haven't seen them check in! Wink If that's the case, it should keep 'em busy for another day or 2! Roll Eyes

BTW, congratulations LosingSleep! Your topic has gone 3 pages plus! More activity than ANY of my topics ever gained! Roll Eyes

Jabbergah
Thats because no one bothers to read all of your topics Jabber Razz

As for the AS FB, I have used it but have often come up with that problem that the other person is mentioning, it is kinda nifty, but its much easier to just do them in bulk on the ebay FB page.

Also, it says that I havent left FB for ones that I have.

The fact is (and you guys know it!) the whole point of an auction, for the bidders, is to get the item at the LOWEST price.
Well, I'm a little late joining in on this thread so forgive me if I'm behind in commenting. Big Grin I didn't have time to read all the comments since there's three pages of them. Eek

Anyhoo, Losing, I am a ebay buyer and seller. When I bid, the whole point of it is to WIN an item that I'm not able to find locally, period. I bid the max I'm willing to pay and EBAY does the rest. Whether I sit here at my computer and place my bid manually or let AS do it for me is irrevelant. If my bid isn't the highest bid, I'm a big loser. And trust me, I've lost plenty of auctions that I've sniped because I wasn't willing to bid as high as the winning bidder. Obviously the winners of those auctions are NOT getting the item at the lowest price, are they??

There, I've said my peace. Big Grin

Hey Rick!

Would you believe I read all of those chapters?! Eek Diva is quite a good writer, for the most part.

There was something I read that I wonder about: Is half.com going away this year? I never really understood half.com. Confused I just thought it was somehow part of ebay, but more like all BINs rather than auctions.
