Having problems with password/bid snipes

The other day, I made a snipe for something and lost because I hadn't changed my pw on Auction Snipe but had on eBay. Fair enough, lesson learned.

Well now, with matching passwords, I'm getting a warning message that my pw that is stored with AS may not match eBay. I have a snipe that is going down in 10 hours and AS shows me as already losing it. The passwords DO match...

What do I do? Other than go bid manually, that is...is this a system glitch?

Try taking your computer all the waydown and then reloading it. Don't ask me why, but sometimes that works! Also, I think if you try sniping something and it takes it, you are ok. You can cancel it right away, of course! (not sure that is so, but I think so)

I cancelled the snipe and reposted it and now all is well. But, I'm still disturbed that happened and I'm a little worried now that it may affect future snipes. Unfortunately, there is a confidence issue I have now....

Well, don't know. I have not had a problem with sniping , ever, except when I don't snipe enough! But,that is me not them!

If you have any future doubts about passwords matching, run Import Wizard at the top of My Snipes. AS can’t import from your ebay watch page unless ID and password matches.

The difficulty I was having was that when I set my eBay password "Check Status" kept telling me it was invalid.

The solution seemed to be to LOG OUT of AS and then log back in (it accepted my new password). Only then would it validate my eBay password.

No charge :-)
