Just successfully sniped an auction, and it turns out the next highest bidder who I beat out was a user who'd stiffed me for payment on one of MY auctions several months back!
I have 2 selling IDs. A buyer left me a neg on my main ID without getting in touch. I sent a message pointing out that if I left her a reciprocal neg as a warning to others, sellers might block her bids. I offered her the opportunity to return the item in exchange for mutual fb withdrawal. But she sent a rude email back saying she was not going to play ball abd "couldnt be bothered" with refunds and complaints procedures.
So in effect there was no way for a seller to make things right with this spoiled cryababy. I left her a return neg warning other sellers that she left malicious negs without contact and couldnt be bothered with returns/refunds.
A week later she bid on an item on my secondary selling ID. I cancelled her bid and told her I had blocked her because of the way she had behaved towards seller XX (my other ID) and that I did not want the same trouble. Of course she had no way of knowing we were the same person! A few days later she filled in the mutual withdrawal form.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
Note: if you proceed, you will no longer be following .
