What's the minimum between items in a group that AS can handle - I was going to set one up - my first - where it was 6 seconds. In the event I decided to go for both items separately. But I was just wondering. I assume AS doesn't bid on an item until the previous auction is over - so the worst that could happen is it'd miss the second and you'd never end up with both. And how do sellers manage to list things so close together anyway ?

Hi, and Welcome to the forum.

The auction must end for the first item, and AS must verify you did not win before it will bid on a second item in a bid group. 6 sec. might be cutting it a bit close, especially Sunday evenings.

You should never end up with more items than you want, but the worst that could happen is you will loose the first auction, and not have enough time to bid on the second. That means you won't get either one. Smile

There is a utility where auction info can be entered off line. When all discriptions are entered for all items they are transmitted to eBay all at once. Sometimes two or three will all end at the same time.

28. Can I add two or more bids with the same auction ending time to a bid group?

Sorry, no. It is impossible for us to detect to see if you have won a snipe, and then cancel the rest, if they end at the same time. You should allow at least 30 seconds between bid group items to give us enough time to determine if you've won the first item.
