I agree Mrs. M!!

We're "maybe" ""hopefully"" closing in on the water back-up. Our 8'deep drainage tiles from all around the house go out thru the yard, to the front of the lot and join the others down to a drainage tile under the street. There is no cover on that end to keep the critters out!! There is a conspicuous blob of cornhusks out the other end of the street tube. We are hoping that a gopher or something (ALOT of gophers here) stuffed the tube and thats why it backed up. We bought a draining cap for it and will call another plumber tomorrow to get his opinion. *cross fingers* Right now we are still listening to 3 gigantic dehumidifiers (@$90/24hrs!! yikes Eek) and 4 turbo fans (@$35/24hrs) running 24/7 until tomorrow or the next day. It's drying out, but I'll have some challenge to get rid of the water stains on our textured plaster. We don't have painted walls, the plaster was colored. Frown Confused
I'm going to have to get real busy selling stuff on ebay and making dolls like a crazy woman. We were lucky not much was ruined by water....that we know of so far anyway. Ugggg, I just realized all my ebay stuff is on my puter that is proly dead. Roll Eyes I won't throw it at him, but since my puter kid will be home tomorrow Smile Smile Smile hopefully he'll be able to fix it up for me. If he can't, nobody can.

The best things in life are furry....and flowers!

Mg, you can bring the "stuff" up on another computer!
Mg, my husband was a plumbing contractor. The problem we had was partially caused my the country drain at the road. It would fill with roots, etc. and they never cleaned it until in backed up into everyone's homes! We used to leave the cleanout (outside) cap sitting on top and not screwed down so it would overflow there first, but anytime we were not able to be home where we could watch it, we plugged the shower drain! We ended up moving because of it!
