Either too new or too stupid

You need to click on update to update your snipe on your My Snipe page.The closer to the end of the auction, the more often AS will do an auto update. If you remember to set your snipe at the max you want to pay, then if you get outbid, the other person just paid too much. I have always found there are more down the pike if you wait long enough, on Ebay.

Hi, and WELCOME to the forum. Maybe too new, but not stupid !

Prices are not updated very often at AS... and a screen refresh doesn't do it either, that only updates the time till end. You have to hit the 'Update Prices' button to get current prices.

Thanks for the info... like a ray of sunshine on cloudy day and might I add it can get pretty cloudy sometimes..in my brain especially when I am trying new stuff
