Is there any reason that AS wouldn't work on eBay Motors? Never used AS before, and never bid on eBay Motors before. Just wanted to ask before throwing myself into trying to snipe a used car.

As I understand (and I dont bid in the motor section and there isnt anything contrary in the archives), you shouldnt have any problems. The only thing to watch out for is auctions that require the bidders to pre-register.
From what I have read, motor auctions are quite often cancelled early, so keep that in mind too.

I would do a *test* run on something you dont want to win, like snipe $1 on a Porsche or something similar. A price you are guaranteed not to win, but hey, if you win a Porsche for $1 dollar, I will take it off your hands.

eBay also requires you to verify your id for bids above, $15,000.

Either put a bank account or credit card on file, and/or verify you identity through a credit report they run on you which costs $10.

I have sniped in Ebay motors and it has saved me big bucks!! For one thing, you don't get carried away and overbid and of course, someone doesn't run up your bid.One thing I always do is that I always go to get the vehicle right away so I see what I am paying for!
