I had a problem when I recently changed my password. What I did and I don't have a clue why it helped, but I went into AS and chaned my password again, even though it was the same, then did the same thing on ebay. That seemed to solve it. Sara, if you know of a glich, let us know! Smile It normally takes about 48 hours for AS help to answer you, but always check. Sometimes I get an answer before the email.

Nope - I changed my password with eBay about (4) days ago; then upgraded my AS data . My snipes were rejected for the next two days. I re-did my AS password up-date about (4) more times after that. Still was getting rejected; and then suddenly the last snipe was accepted????? - I also , during this same time tried to update my charge plate data but the AS link wouldn't let me through. I kept re-trying and finally it went through this morning. - I've got about 30 or 40 snipes being entered and we'll see what happens. In the meantime I probably had about two dozen or so snipes rejected.
OK - I GIVE UP !! - Ebay has started rejecting my snipes again for the same reason "Invalid user / Pass" - I can't believe how much time I've wasted( as well as missing untold bids) - Ridiculous - I've got about (15) snipes in process ( which no doubt will be rejected) and another (20) ready to go, but it's foolish for me to waste any more time. AS still hasn't gotten back to me - This is one unhappy camper !!
Unclebob, what does our confirmation page say for your snipe? Click the "Confirmation" button next to your losing snipe on our site.

My guess is that you have a 4 digit security code that you have to enter. We can not snipe when that security code is required. eBay puts in there to keep robots out. Thus our sniping service, nor any other will work. A manual snipe would though.

eBay turns off the 4 digit security code after 24 hours, usually around midnight. However once any robot or person tries to log into your eBay account again 25 times with the incorrect password it then is turned on again.

I can therefore assume that you have some other service that you have not updated your password with that is trigging that 4 digit security code to come on. Find it, and fix it and our service will start working again.

Hmm, that doesnt seem to be it, there was no security code.

However I ran our test functions on your account and eBay is telling us the password you gave us is not correct.

Please go to the Modify Account link on the My Snipes tab and reenter your eBay password. Then be sure to go to the bottom of the page and click the button to update your account info.

I have noooooooo idea how that snipe around 6pm got through and won, that makes no sense at all. A total mystery....

Once you've changed your password by reentering it let me know and I'll check it for you.
I can tell you now your password in our site today is different than it was last night.

I ran the test and it now works. The one from yesterday was 1 character longer than todays so I know it musta been different.

You are all set, we'll snipe correcty for you here out. You might want to check the first snipe set to go off today though if you have one just to be sure. If it works you'll be fine.
