Ahh,Dave, I forgot you had not been in the forum for a while. I lived in Naples, but moved to NC on the coast. We have pretty mild weather, similar to north Fl. Our wind was around 70 mph, but about 15 miles from here, near Cherry Point it reached 93mph and near Wilmington, south of here about 75miles, I understand it reached over 100 mph!
Serenity,
That is it; I have added it to my favorites, waiting to find a copy in the US; bound to save on shipping. Thank you for the link.

I swear, is there anything that is not on Ebay?!
Money can buy everything.
GG:
Thank you for your offer, I will let you know if the bay doesn't come through.

... and if it can't, who wants it?
Serenity,
I remember that you moved and changed your "moniker" but I had forgotten where. Also, didn't you live on the east side near Ft. Liquordale at one time?

Maybe I should have said: "...if the sellers on the bay don't come through." In reality it is the sellers (and buyers)that make ebay work.
Dave, I live in Ft Lauderdale as a child. I graduated highschool from the old school down by the underpass under the river. I went to Miami U. I lived in several areas.
Gee, this whole thread started out about flu shots and sewing machines; hmmmm, then Mory was delivering a pizza which, darn it, I can't eat! double darn it! and then a quick trip to Australia . Oh well, off to bed as its an early day tomorrow. G'night all.
G'Nite,Dave.
Nighty-night;

Here are the time zones in Australia:

http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU3.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU1.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-NSW.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-NT.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-QLD.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-SA.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-TAS.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-VIC.aspx
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_AU-WA.aspx
Now, I’m not much of a worldly person, but something strange is happening there (if these links are accurate).
Firstly, the different time zones aren’t different by a full-hour increment/decrement (half hour in some).
Secondly, several time zones have the same time.
Thirdly, they don’t seem to decrease as one travels from right to left.
Fourthly, there’s a gap of 1.5 hours between Northern Territory and Western Australia making an unaccountable 30 minutes.
It appears the time zones are separated by state/territory – sort of.

Ah Mory - I thought it was because of my lack of knowledge of USA colloquialisms - when I cannot understand something from across the pond I just assume it something that one of these kind souls needs to explain to me.
Now, the bar IS a good idea......I like bars......

In my job, Rick (bashing out software), I chuck loads of 'em away (zeroes, not Irishmen). Might try shipping them to Far East with spare apostrophes.....
Mike, you’re too binary. Perhaps you’ve spent some time in a binery, or even a beanery.
