Ahh,Dave, I forgot you had not been in the forum for a while. I lived in Naples, but moved to NC on the coast. We have pretty mild weather, similar to north Fl. Our wind was around 70 mph, but about 15 miles from here, near Cherry Point it reached 93mph and near Wilmington, south of here about 75miles, I understand it reached over 100 mph!
Here are the time zones in Australia:

Now, I’m not much of a worldly person, but something strange is happening there (if these links are accurate).

Firstly, the different time zones aren’t different by a full-hour increment/decrement (half hour in some).

Secondly, several time zones have the same time.

Thirdly, they don’t seem to decrease as one travels from right to left.

Fourthly, there’s a gap of 1.5 hours between Northern Territory and Western Australia making an unaccountable 30 minutes.

It appears the time zones are separated by state/territory – sort of.
Ah Mory - I thought it was because of my lack of knowledge of USA colloquialisms - when I cannot understand something from across the pond I just assume it something that one of these kind souls needs to explain to me.
Now, the bar IS a good idea......I like bars......Big Grin
