Now, I’m not much of a worldly person, but something strange is happening there (if these links are accurate).
Firstly, the different time zones aren’t different by a full-hour increment/decrement (half hour in some).
Secondly, several time zones have the same time.
Thirdly, they don’t seem to decrease as one travels from right to left.
Fourthly, there’s a gap of 1.5 hours between Northern Territory and Western Australia making an unaccountable 30 minutes.
It appears the time zones are separated by state/territory – sort of.
