Just an update:

I contacted the sellers of auctions that this person bidded on and they have provided me with some more information. One seller told me that this bidder asked him to send an item to Lithuania. First he's from Indonesia, Thailand, and now this!

I have contacted ebay, but they can't do much yet.

Hi there. They call me that because I guess I am one of those "vigilantes" on ebay that do something when ebay decides to take a back seat on auctions that are clearly scams.

There are many people who set up new IDs for fraudulent purposes and eBay bans them as soon as they can. A lot of them do it for no reason other than to spam other eBay users. Bottom line: don't bid on anything ofered by a zero or low feedback user. Most of us start as buyers to build positive feedback. The feedback system works pretty well so just avoid those zeros.
