Instead of bugging support like I usually do when I lose an auction, can anyone here help me? I just read of a similar problem from May 13. I had the same thing happen. My snipe was placed days ago, it was still there this morning. When it didn't show up on the bid board I started checking and finally found the notation IN RED Banned by Seller. Well, I about fell on the floor. It might as well have been the proverbial Scarlet Letter. (Dating myself here) I have a feedback of only 22 on this buying account (100%) but I am a serious ebayer with 100 buys and over 1000 sales on a joint account with someone else. A. If I was personally banned for low feedback, wouldn't the seller have to notify me? B. Is it possible the seller bans all bids from Auction Sniper? I am on the worlds slowest dialup (26 Kbs or whatever that is) and I can't win a thing without A.S.

When I received notification from Auctionsniper at the end of the auction the details stated auction sniper could NOT bid for you as it was stopped by the seller, I have used auctionsniper heaps and have never had it happen before, I placed NO bids only the auction sniper bid with a 6 sec closing time bid. Exactly the same as you, I too nearly fell off my chair, I missed out on the auction all together had I known I would have placed an ebay autobid, this is really NOT on it is unfair we dont even get told until the auctions over.
On the first link, I should not have been disqualified for any possible reason listed by ebay. On the second link from Rick, I already filed a support request and was answered promptly last nite. My question to A.S. was can a seller ban anyone going thru A.S.,and their answer was No. So the seller evidently banned me. I did have one sitting low bid on that item, I always do that to keep my bids and watches separate. I bid in a highly competitive collectible category and there is no "sneaking" so people won't notice. These items are HTF in most cases. I did write the seller giving my old ID's and histories, all 100% feedback. I never got an answser from them. My ebay partner suggests collusion between the seller and the final bidder. But that makes no sense. This is like poker to me. I know my competitors and they should know me. That seller lost a potential $230, depending on whatever snipe my chief competition put in and won on. This guy bids crazy and the only way to beat him is by bluffing with a crazier bid. I don't know yet what happened but I don't think it was Auction Sniper's fault. I will continue to use them, but I'm going to start backing up my bids with ebay proxy.
To answer Region 2, there was no email from ebay. The red notice was from Auction Sniper. My Items Not Won did show the item however, probably because I had placed an original bid, otherwise it would have evaporated into space completely. If this is an Auction Sniper problem, please just tell me, I will forgive you.
AS sends you an email (it was that to which I was referring) and it has a link on it to see ebay's response. There's also a link on AS's pages under the items lost list. Click on either of those and let us know what EBAY's recorded response was?

I just got back to this after a week and a half out of town with little computer access. I did go back and check ebays email, and yes, that seller had banned me, I can only assume for low feedback, since he never did answer my query. My only consolation here is he could have made far more money on this offering and screwed himself. Hey, they took that word, no other boards I read do. The only reason this still bugs me is this is one of my must have items and it was the first one I've seen in two years on ebay, and none in person during my 25 years of collecting.
