Has anyone tried to load a custom avatar lately? When I try, it say I don't have permission!

I didn't get the 'permission' error but I can't change mine either.
Oops, I spoke too soon. My Avatar didn't change until I posted a reply.

Must admit I just accepted it and didn't bother trying further.

Now I am getting the same error message too, Mrs M. Did you ever figure it out? 
I assume it means that we are stuck with the run of the mill avatars they furnish. 
Puppy, that's how I did it and it no longer lets me!
I'll see if I can get the custom avatars thing working. If you have webhosting elsewhere or a friend that has a website just have them load your image there and you can enter the URL on the custom screen and that will work too.
