Thanks for helping to bring this to our attention.

I reviewed your account and it appears that you snipe on this item could not be places due to some the technical difficulties we experienced on May 31st that caused many snipes to fail between 2 AM and 4 PM PDT, which we posted about in the following thread:

This issue has since been resolved, so we should be able to place any future snipes you may schedule successfully at this point.

The other behavior you mentioned, including the snipe status being incorrect and the usual email notification being delivered, appear to be related to the same issue which caused the snipe not to be placed and our technical team is evaluating that aspect of the situation as well.
