LOL Mrs M - this particular person has opened their life on about 5-6 DVD's, showing the bad bad days (drugs and alcohol), showing a hate for life...then coming through and being what he calls "The Happiest Man Alive".

He has been a really really open person about his faults and problems and THATS what makes me so passionate about him.

I am not like this about any other performer, I like alot, but am not anywhere near this protective towards them.

Robbie has several website forums dedicated to him and when I look there at the amount of ppl he has touched with his lyrics that are actually about his life, how he wants to change, and things he has done wrong - it amazes me. Yes there is the usual 15 yr old teeny boppers with a crush, but there is also....mature married ladies, straight men.

OMG Look at this - you aint seen this side of Lexie before huh ??? Eek spooky

Lexie

"If you read - you will judge!"
If he's standing on a street corner, he's got to attract attention, and that's purely visual. And sometimes that can be enough.

But if he's got a voice that makes your insides rumble and tie in knots, and turns your blood to liquid fire, then THAT's special! It's the whole package, not just the look.

And add the back-story the way Lexie tells it, and it adds up to someone who's worth paying attention to!

The first attribute is at least accurate, although the last 3 would seem a contradiction, unless someone thinks that being wise means one is jaded, cynical, or sarcastic (the Three Wisemen - Jaded, Cynical and Sarcastic. Sounds more like the Three Blind Mice, or the Three Stooges - "Hey Moe").

(Surely, this forum needs a Laverne.)

Sounds a bit kinky. Never heard of that one. Something like a shoe-fetish. You would obviously want him to leave his sock on, or are we talking BOTH socks! Shoe-it-to-me. Your sock is hanging? Is that one robbie too many? What do the French call it when 3 people sock/shoe? Would these be slip-on, or loafers. You definitely don't want golf shoes, unless you're into chains and whips. Track shoes might be good for quickies. Who unlaces the shoes, or is velcrow better? Does shoe-shin have a new meaning? Would there be more transmitted athlete foot?

I'm on a Oscar Wilde kick. I identify with him. He seems to make statements that conflict, yet they agree.
This also seems a bit of a contradiction.

VERY GOOD, PUPPY! GREAT MEMORY! GREAT INSIGHT!

Both "seems" are VERY important. For someone that is "wise", neither statement contradicts (I put you in the wise group, but not a wise-guy). We include the "seems" to help out the less-than-wise, other-wise they would be left in the dark.

You are very, VERY sharp this morning - not to say you are dull on the other mornings, which you are not. Let me rephrase that, "You are particularly sharp this morning."

Ain't that the truth. I'm not sure which takes more time, staying on the forum 24/7, or going thru it in the mornings. It's quieter/peaceful in the mornings.
