Advice please, for a newbie | Auction Sniper

I just had my first successful snipe and I'm really happy I found this service! I definitely plan to sign up permanently but wanted to ask whether anyone has run into trouble from sellers (or other buyers, for that matter) in using AS? Have you created a new Ebay ID just for sniping, or have you been accepted without problems?

I've never had a problem, but I also have turned of instamail. That way AS won't send an email telling the seller 'I won your auction using Auction Sniper'.

i'm also interested in turning off instamail (if it even is on) . . . where in this forum can we turn it off?

"My Snipes" tab, then "Modify Account". Towards bottom you'll see "InstaMail".

So long as the instamail option is turned off, a seller has no way of knowing that you used AS.

nb. the forum and AS are two seperate entities (the forum is a 3rd party product) so you cannot change any AS settings in the Forum...
