Premature Snipulation

Today is Monday so I guess your snipe went in on a Sunday - the one day that ebay is at its busiest so AS adjusts lead time to cope with server demand. As to whether anyone can react to your bid in 30 seconds then I doubt it!

The winning bidder didn’t have time to “react”, but had time to “reacts”.

Don’t know why the typical response to this subject usually ends up in a discussion about how long it takes for another sniper to react. If someone asks for a 5-second lead-time, they shouldn’t get a 35-second lead-time, especially when ebay’s response time allows another bidder to place 3 snipes during that time.

Couldn’t agree more. If AS is going to adjust the lead-time, then why mislead the users into believing they have control.
