Tip top wheeze that - get your yokels to join the army and then start a war in some god-forsaken part of the world.

There was a time when we could confidently rely upon the Germans to start a stoush, but now we're all on the same bally side!

And what have you got against your national bird, Rick. I should have thought they'd be extinct by now - jolly big targets!

Emo
That was quick – get all your toodles pipped or poodles tipped?

Yes. The Germans sure did know how to create a lot of excitement. Now all they seem to care about are making cars instead of wars. Don’t even have a wall any more. Oh well, there’s always the Yanks.

Side note (Yes, I’m being a pedant again): I don’t think there are very many (if any) German novelists, at least writing romance novels. Can’t wait for Mein Kampf to be made into a movie (2nd pedant – ebay won’t allow copies of that book to be shipped to Germany as it’s against the German’s laws).

Not “my” bird – gave the bird to someone else. But, the A.B.E. is in the vulture family (scavengers). Ben Franklin (I’m pretty sure) suggested a turkey – smart fellow that Ben.

You’re right about being big targets. And, nothing quite as tasteful as sitting down to a Thanksgiving meal and eating a freshly, assault-rifle killed eagle – makes my mouth water.

No, the damn eagles are making a come back. I guess it’s time to buy my 10th AK-47 (honest, I’m just an avid killer hunter).

Talk about flip-flops. Things are improving, though. PMSL (haven’t quite figured out what PMSL means but I have it on the highest authority that it’s equivalent to LOL and PML is an acceptable alternative).

M'Lord

Just a point of erudition here:

M'lud is the correct abbreviation amongst the ruling classes.

Gad Sir, the way you mangle the language, m'thinks that you are an upstart - a member of of the "hoi polloi" rather than the aristocracy!

According to Debretts, there is no Emohawk listed amongst the peerage and baronetage.
I did however, find a definition by the Honorable Kryton who stated that an Emohawk is " A polymorph that is spayed at birth and is ... trained to change shape at it's owner's behest"

So, as a matter of grave importance to other members of this board:

Who is your trainer?
Was it painful?

I would sign this off with the family seal, but it makes a mess of the monitor.
Sir Camera;

Gadzooks sirrah, you may expect a call from my seconds!

Only one’s social inferiors, or perhaps lawyers addressing the bench (which is of course to say the same thing), actually use the expression “M’Lud”. Naturally sir, I do not need to so address my peers.

Unfortunately in attempting to engage, as you describe them, the hoi-polloi, one often finds it necessary to try to speak down to their bally level, as you have undoubtedly discovered during your tenure on this jolly forum. Otherwise one is simply not understood, old chap.

The Hon. Kryten is doubtless correct in his assertion, as always, however the term as used in that context is merely a coincidental spelling of my family's moniker. The family is considering legal action to protect its good name, or at the very least, cut a licensing deal.

Our entry in Debrett’s may be found in the sealed section (something to do with Papa and that unfortunate business with the chamber-pot and the goat....).

The Rt. Hon. The Lord Emohawk of Carpetburn
